For when a course just isn't enough.
If you’ve caught the bug and want more time at the wheel, studio membership gives you access to Amfora’s space, equipment, and kilns on your own terms. No class structure, no instructor. Just you, the clay, and as much time as you need to develop your practice.
Whether you’re pursuing ceramics as a hobby, a creative escape, or something to change the direction of your life — this is the space to do it.

What you get
Reserve a spot in the studio from 7am, with last entry at 10pm across the full span of the Convent’s open hours.
Wheels, tools, and studio equipment are available throughout your session.
Clay and studio glazes are included.
Kiln firing is managed by us, and charged per kilogram.

The monthly market
On the second Saturday of each month, the studio opens alongside the Abbotsford Convent Farmers Market.
A chance to show work, meet the community, and see what others are making.
Members are invited to host and participate.

Are you ready for membership?
Studio membership is for potters who are comfortable and self-directed in the studio. You know your way around the process end to end, and you’re ready to work under your own steam.
You don’t need to be a professional or have a plan. But you will need experience working with clay - generally 12 months, though we're flexible on that.
Not sure if you’re ready? Drop us a line to discuss.
